An art piece… A mark carved into da stone of Black Cultchah’. Dis 6x9 coffee table book not only looks nice on da shelf or table, but gives a perspective into many experiences outside of my own. Dis piece was made ta teach, inspire, and spark a moment of remembrance of da readers childhood. Whether it was actually living in da moment or seeing looking from da outside. What started as an online mixtape transpired into a work of art dat I believe is bigger den social media. As I was creating da project I realized more and more dat life is temporary and dat I needed ta leave sumn behind fa not only my legacy, but for the creatives in da generations ta come. As I’ve studied many black artist before me, I realized each one left a heavy impact on art cultchah’ and black cultchah’ as well.
